  • We deal with the problem of calculating the effective dielectric dispersion and electrical conductivity of colloidaldispersions. A comparison of the theoretical calculation of first principles with the experimental data of Schwanshows that our technique proposed here is no longer restricted to dilute solutions and is very effective for studyingthe dielectric properties of colloids with highly concentrated charged spherical particles in an electrolyte solution.

Low-Frequency Dielectric Dispersion of Highly Concentrated Spherical Particles in an Electrolyte Solution

Abstract: We deal with the problem of calculating the effective dielectric dispersion and electrical conductivity of colloidaldispersions. A comparison of the theoretical calculation of first principles with the experimental data of Schwanshows that our technique proposed here is no longer restricted to dilute solutions and is very effective for studyingthe dielectric properties of colloids with highly concentrated charged spherical particles in an electrolyte solution.
